Jamii International Outreach Ministries is blessed to announce the formation of a new aspect of our ministry to the poorest of the poor. Through your participation God will truly become a father to the fatherless. By adopting these children and grafting them into your family you will be an extension of what Jamii is all about. As you know Jamii is Swahili for family and your act of love in adopting one of these little ones is a perfect expression of God's call to Jamii International Outreach Ministries (JIOM ).
Having grown up the slums of Kibera in Nairobi Kenya, Jamii’s founders know firsthand the hardship of growing up in poverty. Kibera is one of the largest slums in Africa with population estimate of almost one and a half million people, mostly children and orphans.
After praying for guidance, the founders of Jamii decided to take the children’s center, that would provide a spiritual home to those
in greatest need, to the next level by placing these orphaned children into a more permanent famly environment through adoption.
Jesus told His diciples in John 14 that He would not leave them as orphans...how can we do any less than follow our Lord's example. Our desire is to complete the healing process of these children through the process of adoption. We, who belive in Christ, were all adopted into His family now Jamii wants to provide our supporters with the chance to follow the example that Jesus gave us and adopt a child.
